Speech Language Pathology Assistant Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our team at Rehab at Home Healthcare Services. As a SLPA, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive therapy services to clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' communication needs and develop tailored treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to promote effective communication, cognitive function, and oral motor development
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and maintain accurate records of client progress
  • Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal client outcomes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
  • Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in the state of Texas
  • Possession of a valid Texas Driver's License
  • Previous experience in home care settings is preferred but not required
