About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their maximum level of independence in occupational performance areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation findings.
  • Provide direct patient care, including implementing occupational therapy treatment programs and supervising assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, patients/caregivers, and professional colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry advancements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university-based Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current License to practice Occupational Therapy by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners.
  • Current Certification in Basic Life Support.
  • Prior experience in pediatric occupational therapy, with a focus on infant feeding and transition to solids, is strongly preferred.
