Position Overview:
Marine Corps Hospitality Services (MCHS) is seeking dedicated individuals to enhance our Lodging Team. MCHS provides essential lodging services for the Marine Corps, ensuring a comfortable stay for Marines, Sailors, and their families during their travels.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Housekeeper A05, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of guest accommodations. Your duties will include:

  • Thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and dusting.
  • Disinfecting bathroom fixtures and replenishing amenities to create a welcoming environment.
  • Reporting maintenance issues and addressing guest requests promptly.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, corridors, and elevators.
  • Operating laundry equipment and ensuring proper care of linens and textiles.
  • Monitoring inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, coordinating with supervisors for replenishment.
  • Cleaning outdoor areas and maintaining the appearance of exterior facilities.

Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper maintenance of furnishings.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Physical Requirements:
This role requires standing, bending, and lifting objects up to 45 lbs independently. Candidates should be comfortable working in various environments, both indoors and outdoors.

Work Environment:
Employees may be exposed to cleaning solutions and varying conditions. Adherence to safety standards is essential.
