  • Oversee day-to-day activities in our Sacramento office, including communication with building management and stocking office supplies as needed.
  • Assist with event planning and logistics for onsite and offsite events.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' legislative assistant experience.
  • Thorough understanding of the California legislative and budget process.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Energetic, self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and prioritize time to meet deadlines.
  • Professional writing skills, including knowledge of legislative standards.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Capitol Track TM a plus.
  • Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals in person, via telephone, and in writing.
