Position Summary:
The Structured Cabling Specialist plays a crucial role within the project team, primarily focused on improving jobsite productivity, safety, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to safety protocols as our top priority.
- Assist the project team with installation tasks as required.
- Maintain jobsite organization and cleanliness.
- Manage materials, tools, and equipment effectively, ensuring any hazardous conditions are addressed promptly.
- Interpret floor plans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets accurately.
- Understand the materials and methods used in structured cabling installations.
- Ask relevant questions to clarify tasks before execution.
- Comply with customer security requirements.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.

Travel Requirements:
This role may involve minimal overnight travel (approximately 5%) in certain areas, with potential for frequent (50%+) overnight and extended travel in others. The candidate should be prepared to travel as necessary.

Additional Duties:
As assigned by management.

Education & Certifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- OSHA 30 certification must be obtained within the first two weeks of employment.
- BICSI Installer 2 Fiber certification is preferred and must be achieved after hiring for Tech III qualification.

Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in structured cabling or related construction fields is required.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
- Ability to distinguish color codes.

Work Environment:
The typical work environment for this position includes both an indoor office setting and construction sites. The role requires the ability to use computers and hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods. The noise level is generally moderate, and the job involves various physical activities such as sitting, talking, using hands, and performing tasks that require bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
