SourcePro Search is seeking a Senior Technology Analyst for Trial Services who will collaborate with the Trial Services and Desktop teams within Information Systems to deliver technology-driven support and services to the firm's legal professionals and staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technology-related assistance for trials, arbitrations, and presentations, ensuring that the needs of the firm are met in various formats—whether in-person, remote, or hybrid. This includes establishing and supporting global requirements for temporary remote offices and working alongside the firm's operations team to offer concierge and logistical services for these temporary setups.
When not engaged in trial-related tasks, the Senior Analyst will also assist the Desktop & Mobility Services team by providing advanced hardware and software support to personnel regarding computers, applications, and mobile devices.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Trial Services Support: Plan and implement technology solutions for trials, arbitrations, and presentations tailored to the firm's requirements.
  • On-Site Technology Assistance: Provide first and second-level support for temporary trial offices, ensuring compliance with security protocols.
  • Concierge and Logistical Coordination: Deliver logistical support for temporary trial offices in collaboration with the administrative trial coordinator.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Trial Services Manager and Director on technology planning for temporary trial offices, including equipment procurement and telecommunications evaluation.
  • Presentation Systems Management: Oversee the installation and operation of presentation systems for trials and arbitrations, including site visits to courthouses.
  • Vendor Coordination: Liaise with other administrative groups, law firms, and external vendors to support trial teams, assisting in contract preparation and budget proposals.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain best practice guidelines for trial-related activities and provide training as necessary.
  • Desktop & Mobility Services: Manage and respond to all support requests submitted through the service management system.
  • Technical Support: Conduct desk-side visits and remote troubleshooting as required.
  • Hardware Deployment: Provide direct support for firm-issued hardware, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Offer second-level support for various applications and operating systems.
  • Process Improvement: Participate in the development and enhancement of service delivery standards and procedures.
  • Remote Access Technologies: Install and support remote access solutions.
  • Security Compliance: Assist with virus remediation in line with security directives.
  • Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory specialists to maintain accurate records of equipment.
  • Setup and Maintenance: Prepare equipment for new hires and perform quality checks on installations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of seven years of experience in desktop and remote access support.
  • Three years of experience in trial office support, particularly in virtual and hybrid environments.
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills in Windows Operating Systems and applications.
  • Basic knowledge of Apple operating systems and networking principles.
  • Strong client service orientation and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and communication.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
