Position Overview

We are excited to announce opportunities for Senior Tax Accountants to join our dynamic Tax division. As an integral part of our team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure the precise and timely execution of client projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Acquaint yourself with the firm's operational guidelines and standards.
  • Understand the ethical standards and regulations set forth by the AICPA.
  • Familiarize yourself with the latest pronouncements from FASB, AICPA, GAO, and GASB.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of tax filings.
  • Exhibit the capability to identify discrepancies and apply relevant accounting principles.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Effectively communicate with supervisors and clients, keeping the team lead updated on project progress.
  • Utilize technology tools effectively in your assigned tasks.
  • Adhere to the firm's quality control and practice management protocols.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and ethical work environment that reflects our Firm's values.
Qualifications

Required
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum of 150 credit hours qualifying for CPA eligibility.
  • At least one year of full-time professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and Outlook.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
Preferred
  • Active participation in professional or community organizations.
  • CPA certification or progress towards obtaining it.
Work Hours:
  • Standard office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • During summer, hours are adjusted to 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Fridays.
  • While we offer flexibility, additional hours may be required during peak periods.
