This full-time role is for a Senior Tax Consultant in our Dallas office. Candidates should possess a minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience in a CPA firm setting. Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Preparation of personal, corporate, partnership, and trust income tax returns of varying complexities.
  • Reviewing tax documentation and workpapers submitted by clients.
  • Assessing adjustments and reconciliations to client-provided general ledgers for tax return preparation.
  • Drafting amended returns of various complexities.
  • Responding to tax notices and preparing necessary correspondence.
  • Conducting tax research projects.
  • Addressing accounting and tax inquiries through thorough research and data interpretation.
  • Enhancing tax knowledge through educational opportunities, professional publications, and participation in professional organizations.

A CPA certification is preferred. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and team members. Familiarity with standard accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, is highly desirable, along with experience using CCH Axcess for income tax preparation.

We seek an individual with recent public accounting experience who is self-sufficient and requires minimal training. The ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload efficiently, and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills is essential. Candidates should be capable of meeting deadlines while working independently.
