At Southcoast Health System, Inc., we are seeking a talented Laboratory Call Center Specialist to join our team. As a Laboratory Call Center Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to clients, patients, and providers in our primary and secondary market areas.
Your duties will include responding to and solving problems related to laboratory specimen procurement, test ordering, result delivery, and billing. You will also be responsible for providing support for all areas of the Laboratory, including all hospital sites, pathology, SPG offices, and all Outreach Patient Service Centers, as well as the mobile outreach team.
Additional responsibilities include careful documentation and follow-up of all patient and client-related activity, investigation and resolution of work queue exceptions, and participation in any Laboratory-related Quality events.
You will also be responsible for supply maintenance and for assisting and providing coverage for the appointment desk Call Center representatives.
We offer a competitive pay rate of $28.00 per hour, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including a culture of well-being that embraces, respects, and celebrates the rich diversity of one another and the communities we serve.
