We are seeking a talented and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Preoperative and Postanesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. As a Staff Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
About the RoleThis is a part-time casual staff RN position in a 16 Bay Preop/PACU department, providing care to patients with complex acuity. The ideal candidate will be able to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care provided to assigned patients, delegating tasks as needed to licensed practical nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel.
Responsibilities- Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse, acute healthcare settings.
- Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.
- Delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
- Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio.
- BLS certification.
- BSN required at 5 years of employment.
The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:
