Job Title: Associate General Counsel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate General Counsel to join our dynamic legal team at Westminster Management. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in providing legal guidance and support to our business operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to our business teams on various matters, including corporate governance, contracts, and risk management.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of outside counsel on various legal matters, including real estate transactions, financings, and litigation.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of our company's compliance programs and policies.
  • Collaborate with our risk management team to identify and mitigate potential risks to the company.
  • Work closely with our HR team to manage and prevent employment-related legal matters.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in a large NY Real Estate law firm and/or company.
  • Bachelor's degree and JD required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to solve problems and work autonomously.
  • Ability to deliver concise, accurate reports and analysis to senior management.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Requires a solid grasp of business concepts, solid judgment, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent Excel skills and Microsoft Word skills.
