Position Summary

We are in search of a proficient Staff Accountant to become a vital part of our dynamic Finance team at ITW Electrostatics. Reporting directly to the Controller, this position will encompass providing extensive support across various financial functions, including record maintenance, financial assessment, and assistance with accounting responsibilities such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Cost Accounting. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, contributing to our financial strategy and overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute general accounting duties, including managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to improve financial performance.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulations.
  • Oversee fixed asset management and tax filing processes.
  • Prepare financial reports and aid in the compilation of financial statements.
  • Support audit procedures and address discrepancies.
  • Perform additional assigned tasks and projects as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
