Job Summary

The Marketing and Communications Manager plays a vital role in championing the Mental Health and Addiction Association of Oregon (MHAAO) both internally and externally. This individual is responsible for developing and supervising all marketing and communications strategies for the organization, ensuring the brand integrity of MHAAO and positioning the company as a trusted source for peer-delivered services and training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote MHAAO's mission and services.
  • Oversee the launch and management of social media and web content for MHAAO fundraising campaigns, direct peer support services, and associated services and events.
  • Recruit and supervise interns for videography, blogging, social media, website content, and marketing materials.
  • Manage the creation and production of all organizational materials, including annual reports, quarterly newsletters, event invitations, and development brochures.
  • Act as point of contact for annual nominations of best workplaces in Oregon.
  • Market MHAAO services by tabling community events, conferences, and other relevant events.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field of study.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of successful professional marketing, communications, or social media management experience.
  • Proficiency in technology software, including Word, Excel, Google, PowerPoint, WordPress, or Social Media Management system.
  • Experience in graphic design and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
