Job Title: Marketing & Communications Manager

Join the Mental Health Association of Oregon team as a Marketing & Communications Manager and play a vital role in promoting the organization's mission and services.

Job Summary:

The Marketing & Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote the organization's mission and services. This includes maintaining the brand integrity of MHAAO, strategically positioning the company as a trusted source for peer-delivered services and training, and establishing the organization's status as an industry leader.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote MHAAO's mission and services
  • Maintain the brand integrity of MHAAO and ensure consistency across all marketing materials
  • Develop and manage social media content to engage with stakeholders and promote MHAAO's services
  • Collaborate with the Director of Development and Community Engagement to plan and execute marketing campaigns
  • Manage and adhere to an approved marketing and communications budget
  • Provide advice and support to the executive team on communications strategies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of successful professional marketing, communications, or social media management experience
  • Proficiency in technology software including Word, Excel, Google, PowerPoint, WordPress, or Social Media Management system
  • Experience in graphic design and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience publishing content on WordPress, Squarespace, or other CMS
Personal Qualities:

The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about and committed to the MHAAO mission. They should be a good communicator and sensitive to various communication and learning styles. They should also be comfortable with the shared duties and daily prioritization shifts inherent to a small non-profit environment.
