Resident Advisor Job Description

Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany is seeking a Resident Advisor to join our Housing Office team. As a Resident Advisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce house rules and lease agreements, ensuring a positive living environment for all residents.
  • Provide support and guidance to residents, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and respectful manner.
  • Maintain building security and health and safety protocols, reporting any issues to the Site Manager.
  • Assist with maintenance and repairs, ensuring the building remains safe and habitable.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, responding to their requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential setting.
  • Experience working with seniors and diverse populations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to de-escalate situations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly rate: $17.50 per hour.
  • Monday - Friday schedule, 12:00am - 8:00am.
