Job Summary

Desert Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nuclear imaging services to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Develop and maintain quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement new protocols.
  • Monitor and maintain radiation safety standards at all times.
  • Assist in maintaining departmental budgets and ensuring efficient workflow.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology with national certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Current certification with the State of California (CRT) and American Registry of Radiological Technologists (Nuclear Medicine Division).
  • Completion of at least two years of college-level academic credits in the physical sciences or a comparable field.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • B.S. in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Supervisory experience.
Work Environment

This is a per diem, rotate position with varied hours and a pay range of $40.42 to $90.00 hourly.
