Job Summary

Desert Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Imaging Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of patient documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality control procedures and maintain equipment and supplies to ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and maintain radiation safety standards at all times.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology with national certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Current certification with the State of California (CRT) and American Registry of Radiological Technologists (Nuclear Medicine Division).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, physicians, and other staff members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field.
  • Supervisory experience in a nuclear medicine department.
