At Desert Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients, operating imaging equipment, and developing film/images while participating in quality control procedures and maintaining equipment and supplies. You will also be responsible for maintaining all records required for patient documentation and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and state agencies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients
  • Operating imaging equipment
  • Developing film/images
  • Maintaining quality control procedures
  • Maintaining equipment and supplies
  • Maintaining records for patient documentation and the NRC and state agencies

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • National certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Current Certification with the State of California (CRT)
  • Completion of at least two years of college-level academic credits with a focus in the physical sciences or other comparable education
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Supervisory experience
