At Desert Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients, operating imaging equipment, and developing film/images while participating in quality control procedures and maintaining equipment and supplies. You will also be responsible for maintaining all records required for patient documentation and compliance with regulatory agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients and operate imaging equipment
  • Develop film/images and participate in quality control procedures
  • Maintain equipment and supplies, and ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
  • Collaborate with physicians to implant and modify new and existing protocols
  • Monitor technologists and maintain an efficient work environment

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology with national certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Current Certification with the State of California (CRT)
  • Completion of at least two years of college-level academic credits in the physical sciences or comparable education
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Supervisory experience
