Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and refine business continuity strategies and plans tailored to industry standards and organizational requirements.
  • Perform risk evaluations and business impact assessments to pinpoint potential hazards and their effects on operational activities.
  • Engage with essential stakeholders to define business continuity goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Design and conduct business continuity drills, exercises, and simulations to assess the efficacy of established plans.
  • Offer guidance and assistance to business units in crafting their continuity plans, ensuring alignment with overarching organizational strategies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience (6+ years) in business continuity planning and crisis management.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards and frameworks for developing a robust BCP.
  • Exceptional analytical abilities to evaluate complex scenarios and devise effective solutions.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments, business impact analyses, and formulating risk mitigation strategies.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing business continuity plans, including crisis communication protocols and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Strong project management capabilities, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying technical concepts to varied audiences.
  • Relevant certifications such as CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional), MBCI (Member of the Business Continuity Institute), or equivalent are preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. An advanced degree or equivalent experience is advantageous.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to work autonomously while also collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with business continuity software/tools is desirable.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Education: Advanced degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
