Position Overview:

We are in search of a dedicated and experienced Senior Financial Collections Expert to enhance our team. This pivotal role is designed for individuals who are detail-oriented and motivated to maintain the financial stability of our organization through effective management of accounts receivable and collections.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Financial Collections Expert, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Formulating and executing strategies for managing accounts receivable and collections.
2. Engaging in B2B collections and negotiations to secure timely invoice payments.
3. Conducting account reconciliations to pinpoint and rectify discrepancies.
4. Leveraging advanced Excel capabilities to analyze data, create reports, and monitor performance metrics.
5. Applying cash applications to accurately document received payments.
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address billing challenges and enhance processes.
7. Tracking and reporting on essential metrics related to accounts receivable and collections.
8. Ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and internal policies.
9. Offering mentorship and support to junior team members as necessary.

Qualifications:

To qualify for the Senior Financial Collections Expert role, candidates should possess:

1. At least 5 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections, particularly in B2B contexts.
2. Demonstrated expertise in account reconciliations and cash applications.
3. Proficient Excel skills, including the ability to develop complex formulas, pivot tables, and macros.
4. Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
6. Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
7. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related discipline is preferred.
