Job Summary

Clean Energy Credit Union is seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Officer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the Credit Union's compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigating risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective compliance programs to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with management and staff to ensure compliance with Credit Union policies and procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and ensure the Credit Union is in compliance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies to ensure smooth interactions and compliance.
  • Provide training and support to staff on compliance and risk management.
  • Monitor and report on compliance and risk management activities.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in risk management and compliance.
  • Knowledge of credit union operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Certifications in risk management and compliance (e.g. CAMS, CRCM).
