Job Overview

Johnson Service Group is seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our team. As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for building electro-mechanical assemblies per applicable documentation and quality workmanship standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Testing: Build electro-mechanical assemblies, perform simple soldering, and build cables.
  • Manufacturing Drawings and Instructions: Read and understand manufacturing drawings and written work instructions.
  • Technical Problem-Solving: Apply comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents.
  • Quality Control: Work is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 2-4 years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly of high technical products.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Skilled in complex mechanical, sub-assembly, rack, and chassis assembly, building cable assemblies, and familiarity with 5S standards and ISO 9001.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Ability to interpret detailed drawings and assembly work instructions, read blueprint diagram schematics, and work effectively with a team.
