The Product Sales Specialist will be responsible for building brand awareness and driving sales of Ferris Commercial Products in the assigned territory. This role will involve demonstrating products to potential customers, generating leads, and working closely with Ferris dealers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities- Become a subject matter expert on Ferris products and effectively communicate their features and benefits to customers.
- Generate leads through various channels, including social media, and develop relationships with potential customers.
- Drive a pickup truck and landscape trailer with Ferris equipment to customer locations and provide demonstrations.
- Work closely with Ferris dealers to gain territory knowledge and develop strategies to maximize sales.
- Participate in external events, such as trade shows and fairs, to support the Ferris brand and products.
- Conduct training at Ferris dealerships to educate new employees on product features and company programs.
- Analyze market data to identify opportunities and develop strategies to stay competitive.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum one year of sales, customer service, or related experience.
- Valid driver's license and ability to become DOT certified.
- Ability to safely load, secure, and operate company trailers.
- Previous experience in the landscaping industry.
- Social media savvy.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and possess solid organizational skills.
- Desire to continuously improve through training.
- Ability to manage business schedule and territory travel effectively.
- 75% of travel will be regional, with daily travel to customer locations.
