Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a challenging role? AEG is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Greater Richmond Convention Center.

About the Role

As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing event set-up and tear down, custodial, housekeeping and light maintenance tasks. This includes operating various types of cleaning equipment, forklifts, aerial lifts, and scrubbers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set-up and break down meeting room equipment, including chairs, tables, risers, and staging.
  • Perform and assist with assigned tasks in the set-up, cleaning and tear-down of facility equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED and be able to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance. You must also be available to work flexible hours and days, including early morning, evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays.

What We Offer

The hourly rate for this position is $18.00 per hour. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan, 401(k) matching, and paid time off (vacation days, sick days, and 12 holidays).
