We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Simplex. This is a full-time opportunity with a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year.

Job Overview

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive service solutions for commercial cooking, refrigeration, and ware-washing equipment. You will partner with restaurant and hospitality managers to identify their needs and offer tailored service plans.

You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial kitchen equipment, including cooking, refrigeration, and ware-washing systems. Additionally, you will communicate with manufacturers to help with diagnoses and parts identification, and consult with the Technical Assistance Group for technical support while onsite.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience with refrigeration, appliance repair, kitchen equipment, HVAC, or relevant military service;
  • A willingness to respond to customer calls/e-mails/texts during evenings/weekends;
  • Relevant technical training, licenses, or certifications (i.e. EPA, CFESA);
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in HVAC/R and hot-side preferred.
