Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Airport Maintenance Technician to join our team at Southeast Airport Services, Inc. This is a critical role that requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and repair of Baggage Handling Systems and Passenger Boarding Bridges;
  • Mentoring and training junior technicians;
  • Diagnosing equipment failures and ensuring safe operation;
  • Providing direction and guidance to other personnel;
  • Reading and interpreting repair manuals and schematics.
Requirements:
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED);
  • Minimum 2 years of previous mechanical or electrical experience;
  • Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays;
  • Previous work experience in an airport environment is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working on conveyors and/or passenger boarding bridges;
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings;
  • BASIC knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in an industrial environment;
  • HVAC, welding/brazing, and/or plumbing knowledge and skills;
  • Minimum 2 years of previous basic electrical and/or electronic systems work experience;
  • 3+ years of industrial mechanical and/or electrical background;
  • Minimum 1-year experience with PLC logic and/or Industrial HVAC certification;
  • Advanced computer skills.
About the Position:

This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary and benefits package. The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
