About the Role:

Leidos is seeking a seasoned cybersecurity professional to lead our Defensive Cyber Operations Practice. As a Vice President, you will be responsible for driving the growth and success of our practice area within the Leidos Digital Modernization Sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive defensive cyber strategy aligned with customer goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of cyber engineers, analysts, and consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Engage with clients to understand their security needs and challenges, providing thought leadership and advising on emerging cyber security trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative cyber offerings and drive revenue growth.
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and governance standards, overseeing quality assurance processes for cyber security projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • At least 15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on defensive cyber operations, engineering, architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Proficiency in implementing and managing cybersecurity technologies, including intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM solutions, endpoint protection, and secure network architecture.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST Cyber Security Framework, NIST SP 800-53, ISO/IEC 27001, DoD RMF, or CIS Controls.
