Logistics Delivery Coordinator

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver Lead to join our team. As a Delivery Driver Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of delivery drivers and ensuring that customer deliveries are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of delivery drivers and oversee the completion of daily deliveries
- Ensure that customer orders are accurately loaded and delivered to the correct location
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with terminal managers to optimize delivery routes and schedules
- Maintain accurate records and reports of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license
- Must have at least one year of experience working as a delivery driver
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally
- Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with material handling equipment
- Previous experience in sales and customer service
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in more than one language
