Job Summary

The Climate Measurements Center of Excellence (CMeC) is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to implement strategy and priorities, develop and facilitate programming, build and coordinate diverse partnerships, lead communications, design and oversee budgetary and financial systems, and manage administration and logistics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement strategy and priorities for the Climate Measurements Center of Excellence
  • Develop and facilitate programming to achieve the center's goals
  • Build and coordinate diverse partnerships to support the center's mission
  • Lead communications and marketing efforts to promote the center's work
  • Design and oversee budgetary and financial systems, including contracts and service agreements
  • Manage administration and logistics to ensure the smooth operation of the center

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in program management or a related field
  • Demonstrated program, administrative, and financial support skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong people skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience with budget management and financial reporting
  • Familiarity with UVM and sponsor policies is a plus
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools
