Hotel Hartness is currently seeking dedicated, personable, and efficient Event Service Attendants to become part of our Food and Beverage team.

Both part-time and full-time, as well as on-call roles, are available.

Position Summary:

  • Prepare and dismantle events in accordance with Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and layout specifications, which includes moving and stacking tables and chairs, arranging linens, cutlery, and glassware, setting up decorations, and managing buffet setups and takedowns, along with other assigned pre-event responsibilities.
  • Execute service during events based on BEO schedules and guidance from the Banquet Captain.
  • Deliver bottled wine service to tables following established standards.
  • Serve stationary hors d'oeuvres or provide passed hors d'oeuvre service to guests.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients when designated.
  • Clear event spaces, including managing in-room trays and covered carts for buffet breakdowns. Collaborate with the culinary team to sort and manage leftover banquet food.
  • Function as a buffet runner, effectively communicating with culinary staff regarding additional food requirements in the event area.
  • Ensure proper storage of banquet decorations, tools, linens, and equipment.
  • Efficiently and thoroughly complete assigned pre-event, side work, and post-event tasks.
