Accounting Specialist Job Description

Dynamic Office & Accounting Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and financial discrepancies to maintain precise and up-to-date records.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to provide clear insights into our financial health.
  • Support month-end closing activities to ensure all journal entries and reconciliations are completed on time.
  • Maintain and update financial databases, spreadsheets, and systems to ensure accurate and organized records.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and audit requirements.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Accounting degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in accounting or bookkeeping, with knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot financial discrepancies.
  • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
