Job Title: Project Manager/Engineer

Remington & Vernick Engineers is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager/Engineer to join our team in Lakewood, NJ. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing multiple engineering projects affecting local infrastructure and land use in various work environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare cost estimates for commercial and residential developments for bonding purposes.
  • Review grading plans for individual homes and inspect various improvements, including roads, underground utilities, curbing, sidewalks, and parking facilities.
  • Develop or implement engineering solutions to assist clients with improving and maintaining their infrastructure.
  • Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, or other topographical or geologic data.
  • Design transportation, utility, facility, or hydraulic systems or structures using computer-assisted design or drawing tools.
  • Conduct preconstruction meetings for private development projects and support field activities of our construction inspection staff.
  • Provide technical advice to clients regarding design, construction, or capital program modifications.
  • Attend public meetings as a Municipal Engineer or Land Use Board Engineer and prepare/present public reports on topics such as bid proposals, project status reports, and developmental review projects.
  • Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor to determine project feasibility.
  • Responsible for scope, schedule, and budget adherence to assigned tasks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (any discipline) from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • PE License Required.
Working Environment:

This position requires frequent and prolonged computer use. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds may be required. Occasional travel will be necessary.
