Job Title: EHS Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled EHS Manager to join our team at Hueman Direct Hire. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement EHS policies and procedures to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and correct unsafe behaviors and conditions.
  • Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare reports for regulatory agencies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote EHS best practices and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures, and conduct drills and training to prepare employees for emergency situations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in EHS, EHS management, or a similar role.
  • Certification in EHS (e.g., CSP, CIH) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
Physical Requirements:
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds.
  • Capable of walking, standing, and/or sitting for extended periods of time.
  • Capable of climbing steps and ladders.
  • Capable of bending, stooping, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

No supervisory responsibilities.

Travel:

Occasional local travel.
