About the Role:

This position is for a Product Support Engineer - Level 3 who will be responsible for performing various logistics analysis activities, including developing forecasting methodology and analysis for supply and sparing demand, and logistics footprint analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains program product support analysis and processes.
  • Establishes and tracks logistics technical performance measures (TPMs).
  • Coordinates internal technical reviews.
  • Establishes and maintains logistics related IPT risks, opportunities, and issues.
  • Serves as the focal point for release of logistics technical data outside the IPT.
  • Develops and maintains system logistics interfaces.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Product Support Engineer for Advanced Development Programs (ADP), you will be responsible for performing various logistics analysis activities, including developing forecasting methodology and analysis for supply and sparing demand, and logistics footprint analysis.

Your responsibilities include logistics related requirements management and verification, risk mitigation, configuration and change management, operations logistics support, maintenance, and management of program logistics issues in the field.

You will perform trade studies to establish system, segment, and equipment requirements, assess their performance, and influence the overall system design.

Responsibilities include preparing Preliminary Logistics Concepts, Recommendations, requirements specification documents, and Statements of Work (SOW) preliminary SE lists, and overall support system concepts in accordance with the program requirements.

Responsibilities will also include:

  • Develops and maintains program product support analysis and processes.
  • Establishes and tracks logistics technical performance measures (TPMs).

  • Establishes and maintains logistics related IPT risks, opportunities, and issues.

Up to 25% travel will be required.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information including holding an Active DoD Secret Clearance with update within last 5 years
  • Experience developing forecasting methodology and analysis for supply demand
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing metrics for budget and cost, both for labor and material budgeting
  • Experience managing budgets, supporting maintenance efforts, and handling logistic analysis

Desired Skills:

  • Experience developing logistics related 3D Engineering models, and scenarios, providing product support engineering to program IPTs
  • Engineering degree or degree in another STEM discipline
  • Experience using military support concepts such as: maintenance planning, sparing analysis, maintenance task analysis (MTA), Technical Publications/Manuals, logistics footprint analysis, sustaining engineering, and site activation
  • Proficient using PDM/PLM software Siemens TeamCenter
  • Experience performing trade studies.
  • Experience with 3DX and Teamcenter highly desired.
  • Military aircraft support knowledge.
  • Must have proven ability to interact and coordinate effectively with a variety of teams, coordinate information, and present to all levels of management and senior members of customer organizations.

Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely:

Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position:

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $82,200 - $157,500.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.

Non-represented full-time employees:

accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.

PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $94,500 - $178,000.
