Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Washington Gastroenterology. As a key member of our Endoscopy Center, you will provide direct patient care and support our team in delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures
  • Set up endoscopy equipment and restock procedure rooms
  • Contribute to patient care planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Provide health education and procedural teaching to patients
  • Observe, record, and report significant changes in patient care
  • Support the goals and objectives of the Endoscopy Center
  • Demonstrate ability to organize and prioritize work to promote flow and meet schedule demands
  • Possess flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and work situations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of skills to assist with all types of endoscopy procedures
  • Document patient care accurately, completely, and legibly at point of care
  • Demonstrate and utilize knowledge of infection prevention/safety
  • Demonstrate ability to clean and properly care for all equipment
  • Recognize and take appropriate action to address customer concerns
  • Meet required hygiene standards
  • Demonstrate customer service by introducing self, communicating clearly, and sensitive to individual's concerns and/or questions
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Washington
  • Previous clinical or gastroenterology experience preferred
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to actively collaborate and build a strong team within the Center and with the rest of WAGI
Compensation and Benefits

Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, accidental death and dismemberment, and basic life insurance. Employees are also able to enroll in our company's 401(k) plan, which includes a company-provided safe harbor contribution of 3% of annual earnings and the potential for a company discretionary profit-sharing contribution. Full-time employees are also eligible for PTO, vacation accrual, and 8 standard holidays per year.

This is an hourly position with an anticipated compensation range of $24.65-$[insert range]. The hired applicant is also eligible for annual discretionary bonuses.
