Job Summary

The Buffalo News is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty in Accounting to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty, you will be responsible for teaching accounting courses to students and contributing to the development of our academic programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach accounting courses to students, including financial accounting, managerial accounting, and auditing.
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of our students and the accounting profession.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in departmental and campus-wide activities to support the needs of students and the college.
  • Maintain current knowledge of teaching discipline and field of study.
  • Participate in curriculum monitoring and development process.
  • Attend required college functions, including staff meetings, in-service training, and special activities.

Qualifications

  • Masters or better in Accounting.
  • 1 year of experience in teaching or industry experience in accounting.
  • Ph.D. in Accounting preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in curriculum development and implementation.
  • Experience in teaching online or hybrid courses.
  • Experience in working with diverse student populations.
