Position Overview:

The University of Rochester Medical Center is actively seeking a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the field of Nuclear Medicine. This role encompasses both diagnostic and therapeutic responsibilities, including the administration of various therapeutic agents for clinical and research applications, such as Ra-223, Lu-177, and I-131. The successful candidate will also interpret advanced diagnostic imaging studies, including SPECT/CT and PET/CT.

Technical Environment:

The Department of Imaging Sciences comprises approximately 95 radiologists and 50-55 residents and fellows. Our technical capabilities include cutting-edge information technology, a clinical PET/MRI, SPECT CT with multiple gamma cameras, and access to a cyclotron/radiochemist, with plans for additional PET/CT systems. Our PACS system is seamlessly integrated into a comprehensive electronic clinical information framework. We are approaching an annual study volume of nearly 1,000,000 across our imaging facilities.

Research Opportunities:

There are numerous avenues for collaborative research with clinical colleagues and basic science/engineering groups at the university. Multiple academic tracks are available for promotion through scholarly education or clinical engagement.
