Department Operations Manager

As a Department Leader at The Kroger Company, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the grocery department. Your key responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with monitoring and controlling supply expenses for the department.
- Manage cash control, sales, and cash items and records for the store.
- Manage the scheduling of Front-end associates to provide adequate department coverage.
- Assist store management in preparing the store/department budget, profit and loss reviews.
- Assist with creating and executing budgets and scheduling of labor.
- Assist in the development and implementation of department action plans.
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
