Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Immigration Specialist to join our in-house legal department at DISH. As an Immigration Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's immigration compliance efforts and ensuring a smooth new hire process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, prepare, and file immigration benefits applications in coordination with the Corporate Immigration Counsel
  • Prepare and draft email correspondence, letters, and documentation for case matters to employees, government agencies, and colleagues
  • Work as a liaison between outside counsel and employee to coordinate immigration filing and gathering of necessary information
  • Coordinate with candidates and hiring managers during the new hire process
  • Maintain case records in the case management system
  • Post and maintain required immigration files and notices
  • Monitor the status of cases, track expiration dates, and run reports
Requirements
  • 1+ year of prior US Corporate Immigration Experience
  • Certificate of completion from an ABA-approved Paralegal Education Program, an Associate degree in paralegal studies, or a Bachelor's degree
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effectively able to prioritize cases, caseload, and other assigned tasks
  • Proficiency in Google Suite applications and Microsoft Office
