Join Our Team as a Lead Educator in Our Children's House

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Educator for our Children's House (ages 3-6) classroom at Guidepost Montessori. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a pioneering team that is committed to nurturing children's growth and fostering a love for learning.

Your Responsibilities:

As a Lead Educator, you will play a crucial role in guiding a diverse group of preschool-aged children within a Montessori framework. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Observing and understanding each child's unique needs to provide tailored support.
  • Creating an aesthetically pleasing and organized environment that encourages focus and independence.
  • Encouraging self-sufficiency by empowering children to take charge of their learning.
  • Delivering individualized and small-group lessons in essential areas such as practical skills, literacy, and mathematics.
  • Building meaningful relationships with each child and fostering a respectful community.
  • Engaging with parents collaboratively to ensure the best outcomes for every child.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Possession of an EEC certificate.
  • Interest in pursuing Montessori certification through our sponsored training program or having already obtained a Montessori diploma for ages 3-6.
  • Experience working with children aged 3-6 in group settings such as daycare or preschool.
  • Familiarity with child-centered educational philosophies, such as Montessori or Reggio Emilia.
