In the role of Roofing Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in defining our overarching strategy and execution to enhance the performance of our roofing assets on a national scale. Your collaboration with Field Operations, vendors, and project management for both minor and major renovations will be key to your success. Your leadership, technical expertise, and proactive approach will empower you to effectively manage your portfolio and implement company strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical guidance in the oversight of Roofing Systems across our entire portfolio.
  • Advance the development of a comprehensive roofing program aimed at prolonging the lifespan of our roofing assets.
  • Leverage data to track trends and conduct analyses to mitigate roofing issues through a comprehensive approach.
  • Assess the necessity for significant projects through on-site evaluations.
  • Formulate specifications, details, scopes of work, budgets, and oversee design work, ensuring accurate code compliance.
  • Comprehend jurisdictional requirements and apply expediting techniques for project approvals.
  • Incorporate value engineering and identify alternative options for projects.
  • Identify and qualify vendors/consultants, negotiate bids, and manage projects through to completion.
  • Scope, monitor, and manage Roofing Projects effectively.
  • Establish and document processes and procedures for standardization.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend products and specifications for our roofing systems (PVC, EPDM, Shingles, Metal, Coatings) based on our value model of quality and cost.
  • Oversee vendor performance, ensuring execution, quality of work, and competitive pricing.
  • Provide emergency response as required.
  • Assist with acquisition due diligence and the transition of new products from Construction.
  • Maintain proactive communication with managers and team members.
  • Manage the National Roof Repair & Maintenance program.
