Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct intense outreach among people ages 60 and over and/or disabled individuals who reside in the King County area.
  • Provide initial assessments, advocacy, referrals to social and medical services, and interpretation/translation to the program's clients.
  • Transport and/or assist clients with medical, dental, and/or social service appointments throughout King County.
  • Collaborate with community partners to identify and address the needs of vulnerable populations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in social services, psychology, or a related field, or a minimum of two years of experience in social service programs.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.
  • Must be fully bilingual in English/Spanish and be able to interpret documents from Spanish to English or English to Spanish.
