Vascular Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team on a PRN/per diem/as-needed basis at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a Vascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Diagnostic Imaging department.
Job Summary:The Vascular Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic non-invasive vascular procedures on adult and geriatric patients, utilizing a high degree of quality and following established policies and procedures. This includes obtaining and recording pertinent clinical information, assisting with patient positioning and transfer, and maintaining the cleanliness of procedure areas and equipment.
Responsibilities:- Obtain and record all pertinent clinical information relating to the procedure ordered, including collative study results, reason for the procedure, patient complaints/symptoms, and history relating to the ability to withstand a vascular procedure.
- Assist, transfer, and position patients as needed, ensuring their modesty and physical safety, utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices needed.
- Check the operation of equipment, maintain cleanliness of procedure area and equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases, and keep area stocked with necessary supplies.
- Eligible for ARDMS registration.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
