We are seeking a skilled Vascular Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a Vascular Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Diagnostic Imaging department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic non-invasive vascular procedures on adult and geriatric patients with a high degree of quality and accuracy.
- Obtain and record all pertinent clinical information relating to the procedure ordered, including collative study results, reason for the procedure, patient complaints/symptoms, and history relating to the ability to withstand a vascular procedure.
- Assist, transfer, and position patients as needed, ensuring their modesty and physical safety, utilizing auxiliary equipment and devices as necessary.
- Check the operation of equipment, maintain cleanliness of procedure area and equipment to prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases, and keep area stocked with necessary supplies.
- Eligible for ARDMS registration.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
