Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for examining patients with breathing-related conditions, conducting diagnostic testing, and developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with physicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care and excellent critical thinking and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy Program approved by the CoARC.
  • Five (5) years experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Currently licensed by the State of NM as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.
  • Registered with NBRC (RRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP).
  • Hold a secondary credential (NRP, ACCE, RPFT, CPFT) within one year.

Required Skills

The successful candidate will require critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment. Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
