Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Veolia North America. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance functions at our water production and related facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret plans and specifications for electrical installation and maintenance projects
  • Perform installation and maintenance of electrical, electronic, and instrumentation systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical circuit issues
  • Work with contractors and other departments to maintain high voltage circuits
  • Install and test electrical and electronic equipment according to specifications
  • Prepare and update drawings and documentation
  • Perform routine checks on Scada system alarms to ensure function
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree in electronics or electricity preferred
  • Knowledge of National Electric Code and medium and low voltage power and lighting circuits
  • Ability to operate personal computer and software
  • Valid driver's license and Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Electrician license required
Work Environment

This role requires occasional exposure to wet or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. You will work near moving mechanical parts and in high and precarious places. You may be exposed to extreme outdoor weather conditions and risk of electrical shock and vibration.
