C&W Services is seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards and defects.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating electrical equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including circuit breakers, transformers, and other electrical components.
  • Install and connect electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other trades to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve electrical system efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry developments.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • MA Electrical License
  • High School diploma or equivalent educational certification
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience as a licensed electrician in a commercial building
  • Comprehensive training and certification in HVAC and other technologies relating to building engineering
  • Strong technical and problem-solving abilities, including those related to mechanical controls and Building Automation Systems
  • Intermediate skills necessary to operate computer for general day-to-day work and communications
  • Ability to effectively communicate in writing as needed
  • Strong working knowledge of web-based work order systems, such as Corrigo
  • Demonstrate exemplary tenant relation skills
  • Flexibility to work at various properties that may be assigned from time to time
  • Possess knowledge of safe and efficient operation of all equipment, power and hand tools
  • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record when required

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach and use arms to perform tasks as well as push and pull objects and grasp with hands
  • Regular use of various machinery and tools
  • Regularly required to talk and hear and occasionally required to smell
  • Frequently required to sit, crouch, kneel, crawl, balance, climb stairs and ladders, work at heights and in environments with varying temperature ranges both outside and inside
  • Occasionally required to work around vibration or noise as well as dust
  • Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 75 lbs.
