About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to manage our automation projects from start to finish. As an Automation Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating engineering and installation deadlines, scheduling manpower and equipment, and procuring materials. Your strong communication and customer relations skills will enable you to act as the primary point of contact for the project team and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend job turnovers with sales/engineering and review schedules.
  • Coordinate engineering and installation deadlines.
  • Schedule manpower and equipment for key project dates.
  • Procure materials, negotiate savings, and manage subcontracts.
  • Track project progress, ensure compliance with safety and reporting standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the project team and customers.
  • Oversee project closeout, including owner training and final documentation.
  • Monitor performance, cost efficiency, and recommend improvements.
Requirements
  • Experience with project management software (MS Project).
  • Experience with building automation is required.
  • Experience with energy management and efficiency is a plus.
  • Strong communication, customer relations, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in scheduling, estimating, and managing budgets.
  • Construction Management degree or equivalent experience preferred.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on experience. This role requires flexibility in work hours and occasional travel.
