Technical Operations Manager

En Route International is seeking a highly skilled Technical Manager to join our team in Northern America. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of our compliance are adhered to and managed.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and lead the Quality Management System (QMS) in Northern America.
- Manage all technical aspects of the supplier approval and risk assessment programme.
- Audit suppliers to ensure supplier processes meet En Route's quality and food safety requirements.
- Lead the compilation and timely publishing of product technical specifications for all Northern American projects.
- Investigate and report non-conformances, ensuring a responsive and timely investigation.
- Work with NPD to manage the surveillance programme and generate quality attribute sheets for all ER branded products.
- Provide trend analysis on complaints and supplier performance to the wider team.
- A degree in food science/technology or a related science.
- Previous experience of working in the travel sector in a supervisory quality/technical role of a food manufacturer or flight caterer.
- Good understanding of GFSI standards, HACCP/TACCP/VACCP, food safety and labelling legislation.
- Proficient IT and report writing skills.
